LSTs are often best paired with their corresponding base asset (for example, stATOM / ATOM). This allows for a low cost single hop trading route to enter or exit LST positions. As with stablecoin / stablecoin pairings, the goal for an AMM integration for LSTs should be to maximize capital efficiency when trading into, or out of, the LST. This reduces trader and liquidator costs, ultimately driving up trading volume in the pool.
